About Me

Hi, I'm Steven
I’m a cricketer from Trinidad who has had the privilege of playing at the international level and building my career across the Caribbean and the United States. Cricket has always been more than a game for me—it’s been my passion, my purpose, and my path. Over the years, I’ve grown from player to coach, earning a Level 3 coaching certification and helping players of all ages sharpen their skills, strengthen their mindset, and love the sport as much as I do. My journey is about sharing my experiences on and off the field, and continuing to inspire the next generation of cricketers.
I started my cricket journey in Trinidad, where I grew up with a deep love for the game. As a wicketkeeper-batsman, I was fortunate to represent Trinidad and Tobago at various youth levels, which eventually led to my selection for the senior team. Playing in regional and international tournaments gave me not only technical skills but also a strong understanding of the discipline, mindset, and resilience needed to succeed at a high level.
Over the years, those experiences shaped me both as a player and as a person. As my playing career evolved, I felt a growing desire to give back to the sport that had given me so much. That calling led me to pursue formal coaching, eventually earning my Level 3 coaching certification. Coaching allowed me to channel my passion into helping others—whether it’s refining technique, building game awareness, or boosting a player’s confidence on and off the field.
Now based in the United States, I’ve had the privilege of working with cricketers of all ages and skill levels. I take pride in blending the knowledge I gained from professional play with modern coaching methods to guide, mentor, and inspire the next generation of players. For me, coaching isn’t just about cricket—it’s about leadership, growth, and creating opportunities through sport.
